Backroads of Brock

This year we joined the Backroads of Brock, a private membership of agritourism and artisans that want to showcase the hidden gems of Brock Township.  Our members are a wonderful group of people with very special locations for visitors to explore.  Check out the website for more information or follow us on social media: :   https://backroadsofbrock.ca/ https://www.facebook.com/backroadsofbrock https://www.instagram.com/backroadsofbrock/

Spring And New Beginnings

Spring And New Beginnings

As the covid winter wore on, our collective mental health was challenged by a cycle full of sad and depressing news.  Spring brings little relief so far except for dreams of a better summer made possible by the miracle of vaccines.  But as we slug it out one day at a time during stay-at-home, lockdown, emergency brake or whatever flavour of the week name the government wants to label the current restrictions with, we cling to one thing.  Hope. Great Pyrenees dogs have been guarding sheep in the Pyrenees Mountains – the border between France and Spain - for thousands of years and have been described as big dogs with big hearts. Wonderfully calm, devoted and friendly they are very protective of their charges including family members. To do their...
